International Women's Day is celebrated on 8 March each year.

Annually on 8 March, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements. A global web of rich and diverse local activity connects women from all around the world ranging from political rallies, business conferences, government activities and networking events through to local women's craft markets, theatric performances, fashion parades and more. The first national Women's Day was observed on 28 February 1909 in the United States. It was first celbrated as an international womens day on 18 March, 1911. Since the the date changed, and the womens day is celebrated on the 8th of march throughout the world.

April Fools Day ( April 1st) is celebrated throughout the world as a day of fun and foolishness, where people play all kinds of practical jokes to each other.
The history of April fools tradition was well established during the 17th century in northern Europe. Every year on April 1st, people in London were invited to go to the Tower of London to see the "Lions washing".
